People's Choice Award 2009 
TimberhArt won this prize for the second year in a row, this time for
a home in Little Harbour. See
pictures.
The voters for this award were members of the general public attending the
Ideal Home Show in Halifax in October 2008. Two of our designs were in the
top 5, and one of them, a
timberframe house we built in Yarmouth [see slideshow],
took first prize.
The other top 5 contestant was the "Taiko
Beam" house [see slideshow].
“This Award is a mark of the respect this design commands from fellow timber framers. This design helps contribute to ongoing improvement in the art of timber frame design throughout North America and beyond.”
We are honoured to have received these awards, and by their testimony to
our commitment to the art and craft of timber framing.
