Project
Engineer / General Manager:
Seeking an Engineer for a state of
the art design office, with team management & development skills.
Experience in animated/3D AutoCAD design applied to structural design
and job experience in a manufacturing company, an asset.
This person will possess excellent
people/management skills, and is organized and meticulous with details.
They will be visionary and reliable. Responsibilities include overseeing
of the design team members, coordinating multiple projects and the
development of the department.
As a Manager they will have an overview
of the company, working in collaboration with sales, design, and
shop departments, including clients and contractors. The key component
of this position will be to implement company quality and growth.
Lean manufacturing is an asset.
This position has the potential to
be one position or two depending on the applicant’s qualifications.
Architect / Designer
/ Architectural Draftsperson
The candidate will be experienced at working alongside
clients to develop custom-built residential designs and some commercial. This
requires effectively translating a client’s vision of
their future house into conceptual sketch drawings and then
developing and drafting this design into a complete set of blueprints
for construction. Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to hand-draw
perspectives are an asset. People skills a must.
Specialty Woodworkers:
Timberhart Woodworks (formerly Acorn
Timber Frames) is looking for Specialty Woodworkers for the growth
and expansion of the woodworking department in our company.
The woodworker will have knowledge
and experience in building custom stairs, windows, cabinets, and
furniture.
Approximately ninety percent of the
worker's time will be in the shop, with some travel to site for installation.
Timber Framers:
Timberhart Woodworks (formerly Acorn
Timber Frames) is looking for Timber Wrights and Apprentice Timber
Framers for the growth and expansion of our Timber Framing company.
We are looking for people eager to
work in and learn Timber Framing.
The person should be a team player
and be ready for a challenging & rewarding experience.
The candidates for these positions will possess
excellent people/management skills, great organization, and be
meticulous with details. They will be visionary and reliable.
